Responsibilities:

  1. Receiving, dispatching, and registering official documents daily.

  2. Reporting data to the Technical and Vocational College Database (faculty information, curriculum-related data).

  3. Submitting information to the Technical and Vocational Curriculum Resource Network.

  4. Revising departmental bylaws and organizational guidelines for various committees.

  5. Organizing and recording department-related meetings, including Department Affairs Meetings, Department Faculty Evaluation Committee Meetings, Curriculum Committee Meetings, and Teaching Assistant Selection Committee Meetings.

  6. Preparing proposals for the University Curriculum Committee, Academic Affairs Meeting, University Faculty Evaluation Committee, and University Affairs Meeting.

  7. Managing Chinese and English syllabi for the Day Program.

  8. Planning and updating the Day Program curriculum.

  9. Handling curriculum planning, faculty teaching assignments, and consolidation of faculty teaching hours.

  10. Assisting faculty with scheduling their teaching times.

  11. Managing student pre-registration and course selection matters (compiling class lists, course selection lists, and confirmation forms).

  12. Handling registration for summer session courses.

  13. Forwarding various faculty-related documents to appropriate units.

  14. Completing surveys and data requests for the Office of Academic Affairs.

  15. Managing the appointment process for full-time and part-time faculty as well as teaching assistants.

  16. Handling faculty academic activities (short-term training, workshops, overseas lectures, overseas study, etc.).

  17. Processing faculty promotion applications and faculty review submissions.

  18. Co-organizing large-scale seminars (paper handling, workshop certificates, administrative coordination).

  19. Assisting with property inventory and distribution of daily consumable supplies.

  20. Managing elections for representatives of university meetings and for department committee members.

  21. Assisting with the borrowing and management of library equipment and instruments for the Day Program.

  22. Assisting with the registration and management of Day Program specialized classroom usage.

  23. Handling tasks assigned by the Department Chair.

  24. Arranging and reviewing Day Program course schedules.

  25. Handling course selection matters for the College Division.

  26. Managing registration and add/drop procedures for course retakes and summer sessions.

  27. Processing faculty academic activities (lectures, professional development).

  28. Consolidating data for faculty promotions and teaching hour calculations.

  29. Managing the appointment procedures for full-time and part-time faculty.

  30. Organizing meetings for the Department Evaluation Committee, Academic Committee, Curriculum Committee, and Student Recommendation Committee.

  31. Handling faculty evaluation-related matters.

  32. Coordinating tasks with the Office of Research and Development (faculty activities).

  33. Co-organizing major events.

  34. Managing industry–academia collaboration affairs.

  35. Coordinating tasks assigned by the Office of Academic Affairs.
